Event Details:
The Climate Adaptation Forum is a collaboration between the Environmental Business Council and the Sustainable Solutions Lab at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
The September Climate Adaptation Forum will focus on the impacts of climate change on the U.S. housing market – including an increase in default rates, volatility of house prices, and abandonment of existing housing stock. In addition to these negative consequences, what potential opportunities exist in underutilized markets and receiving communities like Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, and others? Finally, we hope to address the role and the need for affordable, climate-resilient housing in all markets across the country.
