| New federal grant programs made available through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) allocated billions of dollars in resources and shed light on the abundancy of discretionary grant funding. Federal infrastructure programs experienced a substantial boost in funding in the past few years, with unprecedented levels of funding being made available by federal and state agencies. States, regions, and communities are increasingly allocating resources to climate change and resiliency-related funding sources to proactively mitigate expected climate impacts. With so many different programs available, it is helpful to holistically review the current available funding, grant, and financing strategies to support climate change adaptation and mitigation. This EBC Climate Change Webinar will describe federal and state funding programs available to support planning or construction of climate change and resiliency-related projects.
