The RI Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) will be hosting its third Climate Justice Hour to continue conversations about creating climate justice for Rhode Islanders. Chris Gaynor (Climate Justice Specialist with the RIDEM) and Greg Ohadoma (Energy Justice Manager with the RI Office on Energy Resources (OER) want to hear from community voices, organizers, and environmental justice advocates about the pressing climate change issues that have affected Rhode Island communities. Chris and Greg will be inviting colleagues from the OER) and Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) to be available to discuss the topics of transportation and mobility in the context of climate justice
This is an ongoing conversation to inform the work of agencies attending, and to connect them with the most important perspectives of Rhode Islanders…YOURS!
