Learn about RI’s MyCoast Project!

Rising sea levels have brought increased flooding to low-lying coastal areas around Rhode Island in recent years. Volunteers have taken thousands of photographs of local areas flooded by king tides and storms and uploaded them to MyCoast.org/ri, an online database that tags the photos with tidal and weather information and locates them on a map.

Learn how these photos are being used for planning and restoration in this  “MyCoast in Action” webinar on Thursday, Feb. 29 from 5-6PM featuring Wenley Ferguson, Director of Habitat Restoration for Save The Bay, and Teresa Crean, AICP, Director of Planning, Building and Resilience for Barrington.

Whether you would like to know more about how your MyCoast photos may be used or how you can use these photos for planning, presentations, or community education and outreach, join us for this webinar! All registered participants will have a chance to submit questions prior to the presentation.
